If you are signed up for Hoops of Hope, find friends, neighbors, family members, businesses, and various others to sponsor you. Share with people that you will be shooting 500 free throws to raise support for children in Africa who have been orphaned by aids. They can give you cash or check for any amount they would like. The donation is tax deductible, so they have the option to receive a receipt from Hoops of Hope.
If you need more pledge forms let me know. Also, your friends can jump in anytime and participate. The $5.00 registration fee that you paid will go towards your overall pledges. We will recognize the top fundraiser from our Hoops of Hope event.
Our Hoops of Hope event will take place on this Sunday, November 18th, at 5:30 pm in the FBC Gym. Be sure to wear gym clothes. We have basketballs, but you are welcome to bring your own. Also, be sure to bring all your pledges to the night of the event! God will honor what you are doing!
