If you bring a friend, your name will be placed into a box. If you bring two friends, your name will be placed into a box twice. If you bring ten friends, your name will be placed into the box ten times. During the night we will draw for some really big prizes! Will you win? Bring a friend and find out.

Operation Shoe Boxes
Our students attending Grow U received a special ministry assignment this past week. Each Middle Schooler was given a shoe box, which will be sent to children all over the world. The students can pack the boxes with various items and designate the gender and age of each box.
The box has guidlines and requires $7.00. If you would be interested in putting one together, grab a form, wrap a box, fill it, and turn it in at church on November 11.

Hoops of Hope...Deadline
The Hoops of Hope deadline is coming up this Sunday, October 21st. The event will take place on Sunday, November 18th in the Gym. Students will come and shoot 500 free throws. The great part is that they do not have to make them...just try!
Students will be asking family, friends, and others to sponsor them as they shoot free throws. All funds raised will go directly to children who have been orphaned by aids. It is a great way for students to make a difference and expand their worldviews. The cost is $5.00 per student, which will go directly into their funds raised. You do not have to be a basketball player to participate!

Amazing Race...Pics
Here are a few pics from the Amazing Race! Not all of our teams have submitted photos yet, but here is a peek into just a few of the things that were involved. We sent out 14 teams to invade the streets of Benton. Each team looked for items to bring back along with snapping photos of a very wide variety of things. Thanks to our leaders who drove and loved students.

October...Hygiene Items
We are challenging our small groups to begin collecting hygiene items for the month of October. Each month will be themed with different items to collect. This go around, be sure to grab soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, and other various hygiene items.
Each donation brought will benefit those in our community. When you arrive at small groups, look for the shopping cart. The shopping cart is dedicated just for hygiene items. Let's overfill the cart in October!
By the way, great job in September! The cart was running over with school supplies!
