Paint Your Heart Out was a great success. There were a total of 6 churches and over 100 students serving in the city of Benton. Students washed, primed, and painted houses. There were 7 houses that received a make-over.
Our Middle School Students were spread out among the houses. At one house...off Dixie Street...a group of our girls trimmed hedges, weed-eated, and picked-up trash. They also washed the paint off of the old metal siding. After a couple of coats primer and paint, the house looked so much better! They wrapped the week up by putting together a gift basket for the lady in the house.
Finally, we all gathered for our Celebration Service. There was worship, a slideshow of the week, and student testimonies. Syndee did an incredible job sharing about her experience! The time came to a close with Jonathan Curtis sharing God's love through illusions. He did a fanastic job. Looking forward to more serving and reaching out to others!
