Sharing Project

This picture begins with a simple drop into the water. One small pebble, one small penetration into the surface of the water creates momentum. There are ripples to follow that initial splash. A Middle Schooler can be that one drop. One small student doing one small act of kindness can make a significant impact that spreads. Because of this, we will offer our students the opportunity to participate in "Sharing Projects." These projects will help to engage the students in being a blessing to others. We believe that Middle Schoolers can make the world a better place.

One way to do this is through giving. Our "Sharing Project” for the months of September and October will be to construct a Homeless Care Kit. All of these boxes will go to homeless men and women in Central Arkansas. It will not be long until it is going to be cold. Our kids can be good helpers for God by putting together a box. How do we make this happen?

Step #1) Get a shoe box.

Step #2) Choose to prepare one for a man or woman.

Step #3) Place toiletries, gloves, toboggans , scarves, small blankets, and whatever else you want to pack in your box.

Step #4) Wrap the box in nice paper and label it either for a "Man" or a "Woman."

Step #5) Pray that God would bless the person who receives the box.

Step #6) Bring it with you to church.

Step #7) Do another one if desired.
