Amazing Race

You don’t want to miss our 3rd ever Amazing Race next week! Students will be paired with 4-7 other Middle Schoolers and an adult team leader. Next, each group will be unleashed on the city of Benton. Every team will be given a special assignment. The teams who do the very best will receive prizes.

The starting and finishing line will be at the FBC Gym. Don’t forget to check-in when you arrive by filling out a registration form and turning in your $5.00 to participate!

ParenTeen Seminar

The ParenTeen Seminar is this Sunday, September, 20 from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm at Holland Chapel Baptist Church.

The cost is $10.00 per person or $15.00 per couple. The deadline to receive this rate is on Wednesday, September 16.

Following this, the price will increase to $15.00 per person or $20.00 per couple.

Common Ground Series

We are getting closer to wrapping up our first series of the year in Common Ground. It has been a great kick-off thus far. Our study is entitled: "If these walls could talk." You can gather a great deal about a group by simply looking at their walls. What is on a person's wall is often a reflection of their character, interests, and personality. Over the past few weeks we have been looking at the walls in the Middle School Ministry wing of the church. Each wall down our hallway represents who we are and who we want to become. Listed below is a picture of each wall, the topic explored, and date it all happened.

The Apparent Privilege Seminars will assist you in raising your kids. Pointing your children to Christ, modeling the Gospel, and talking about God’s grace does not have to be a burden. It is a privilege. These sessions will provide a combination of biblical understanding and the latest research to encourage you to be the spiritual leader and the primary influencer of your child.

Giving Project

It’s time for Middle Schoolers to step-up and to give back during the next two Wednesdays (September 9th and 16th) at Common Ground. We need cans of beans. It does not matter if they are green, great northern, black, brown, refried, or pinto...just bring them lots of them. All can goods will go to help the residents that live on Hiland Street right here in Benton during the Saturday of Service Project.
