The final day of Mountain Camp was really simple...wake-up, catch the bus, and ride home. We left Shepherd of the Ozarks pretty early and safely arrived at Frist Baptist Church.
This event was a successful shift from the past few summers of traveling to the beach. All in all the students behaved very well and responded intently to the activities, worship, and groups. Our hope for Mountain Camp was to nudge and spur students to begin developing some key spiritual disciplines. There will be students from this camp that will take the content and bring it to life!
A special thanks to all those who helped make Mountain Camp happen. Apprecation goes out to the Family Group Leaders, Scholarship Providers, and the Staff of Shepherd of the Ozarks. Finally, Bryce, our Middle School Ministry Intern did a fantastic job leading the students in praise and worship. It is a blessing to have him aboard.
