Well, day two is in the books here at Mountain Camp. It was a busy day with stuff happening early until late. Each Family Group began the day with Quiet Times. This provided the students the opportunity to spend time with God journaling and walking through some Scripture. Once Quiet Time ended, we headed over to the Buffalo Lodge and chowed down on some breakfast.
After breakfast, boys and girls separated into two activites. The boys went on an Adventure Hike in the mountains and the girls did a little River Tubing. This was followed by lunch.
After lunch, everybody went to specific activities at different times. There was a group that rode horses while others played Laser Tag. When someone was not at an activity, they swam, relaxed, and hung-out. The water is clean, clear, and very, very cool.
Next on the agenda was supper. We love to eat. Supper time ended with the Shepherd of the Ozarks store being opened for the students to shop. Once everyone made their purchases, it was time for Hay Rides. The boys and girls took separate rides that explored the area.
Finally, the night came to a close with a worship gathering. Our third time together focused on the Bible, which was followed by Family Groups and some Late Nite videos. Looking forward to day three. Check back soon for pics at the conclusion of camp.
